Roseline Fong has passed the certification as a qualified Certified Financial Planner & Associate Wealth Planner with The Financial Planning Association of Singapore in 2004.
With 10 years of financial experience behind her now, she first started her career after graduating from the National University of Singapore with a major in Mathematical Statistics. With a strong belief that education & continuous learning is the key to competency, she has continuously upgraded herself such as completing the Diploma in Life Insurance & the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Singapore College of Insurance before moving on to embark on the certification of a Certified Financial Planner.
Today, she has embarked on a journey of investing into the US markets, picking up skills from mentors in her network that she has acquired through attending various seminars & workshops over the years, as she believes that investing is the key to financial independence.
Being in the financial industry for the past 10 years, she has seen the various changes that have shaken the industry & has ridden through the tough times of stricter compliance standards, increased administrative requirements, higher consumers’ expectations, surge of competition from the banks & a wider yet more complicated range of financial products.
Through it all, she has decided to separate herself from the noise of expectations out there & embrace a different approach of adhering to her clients’ concerns in life by majoring on the majors instead of the minors.
Surely we are not foolish enough to think that we can please everyone, as everyone holds different expectations. She may not be the “best” adviser around, depending on what your definition & expectation of “best” is.

A business relationship has to work both ways. Therefore, it is her choice & preference to work with people who are willing to take ownership & responsibility for their own finances.
Her philosophy is simple: “I don’t just advise others how to plan. I practice exactly what I advise & I will not recommend you to do something I have not done it myself.” In other words, she puts her money where her mouth is.
